Oats-n-flexSeed Garlic Bread



This bread comes out as quit a surprise..I started with simple whole wheat bread but gradually idea's keep coming in mind n started adding things here n there..Finally the product was one handsome n healthy Bread loaf which is quit crusty outside yet light n tender from inside..exactly how it should be !!





The best part is that its very easy to prepare..Just mix all ingredients,let them rise,punch down,rest again,bake n voila ! your bread is ready..easy hah !! now just toast it with some butter n njoy !! You can make it without any flavor or try adding some other flavor(like nutmeg,cinnamon,rosemary,oregano.. etc)..go on n be wild !!

Here is the recipe 


INGREDIENTS

2 Cup Whole Wheat Flour
1/4 Cup Oats
3 tbsp Flex Seeds
1tbsp Instant Yeast
1/2 Cup Water
1tbsp Oil
1tsp Sugar
1/4 tsp Salt
4 Garlic clove
1/2 tsp Chillli flacks



DIRECTIONS

  • Warm water,mix in yeast n sugar.Let it rest till its become frothy (around 5-8 minutes).
  • In a bowl mix flour n salt.Pour yeast water n mix with a spoon.It ll be sticky dough.
  • Transfer dough in greased bowl.Keep in some warm place covered for couple of hour.It ll become double in size.
  • sprinkle some flour on platform n Transfer the dough on it.spread outs n flex-seed all over it.Plunch it down and knead for a minute.Now add finally chopped garlic n chilli flacks,knead for another minute.
  • transfer it in greased baking tray or tray.Let it rise again for an hour.
  • Bake it in preheated oven on 170'C for 30-35 minutes.

Egg-n-Pepper Oats


After rigorous training in Gym I really like bit heavy breakfast with high protein content.I use only egg white which is full protein,it gives me a good kick for whole day!
Mostly I opt Oats in morning as it takes really few minutes to prepare.Also many variation in taste can be made.Today i tried it with Mexican scrambled egg n it turned out yumm !

Next time m gonna add some chopped chicken pieces too(more protein n more taste)  





INGREDIENTS

1 Cup Oats
2 Eggs white
1 tbsp Onion(chopped)
2 tbsp Red Pepper(chopped)
1 Tomato(optional)
few coriander leaves
Pinch of black pepper n salt

DIRECTIONS

  • Spray oil on nonstick pan.Fry onion n pepper for a minute.
  • Add egg whites with pepper n salt.keep stirring till its nicely cokked.Now add oats n cook for another minute.
  • Now mix in diced tomato(if using) n 1.5 cup of water.
  • Let it cook for couple of minute or till you get desired consistency.
  • Add in coriander n njoy !




# Amount of water ll depend on what kind of oat you r using.
## You can add some cooked shredded chicken or ham.

White Beans n Spinach Pasta !



Well m not that frequent in posting recipes now a day.Main reason behind this is my Gym Routine ! .Honestly its real tough for a person like me,who is complete foodie,its impossible to have bland food,So,i keep playing with flavors to make my lunch tasty...Second problem is time,as i don't like to spend much time in kitchen when m preparing only my meal.So,Now on wards i ll try to share my those recipes on regular basis..

So,Be ready to see endless number of healthy,diet friendly recipes.Hope ll be helpful 
Mostly i have pasta,oats,brown rice or semolina as lunch with the almost 90% veggies.which is really easy n fast to prepare n keep me full for longer time.






Starting with this pasta..its highly rich with protein n iron coz of white beans n spinach.
Here is the Recipe:

INGREDIENTS

1Cup Elbow Pasta
1 Bundle Fresh baby Spinach
1Cup Fresh White Beans
1/2Cup Carrots(chopped)
1 Clove Garlic
1/4 Cup Milk
Pinch of Black pepper
Pinch of Salt



DIRECTIONS

  • Boil Beans n carrot in some water for 5 minutes.Boil Pasta in salted water till al-dante.
  • Blanch spinach in hot water.
  • In Non stick pan sprinkle few drops of oil.fry(roast) chopped garlic.
  • Add spinach n beans and fry for couple of minutes.
  • Add pepper,salt n pasta with milk.Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  • Pasta is ready.Enjoy !


# Some broccoli can also be added.
