INGREDIENTS
1cup Flour
3/4cup Sugar
1/2cup Butter/oil
2 Eggs
1Lemon zest and juice
1tsp Baking powder
1/4tsp Baking Soda
1tbsp warm Milk
DIRECTIONS
- Cream sugar with oil.Add egg and cream it again.
- Sieve together flour,baking soda and baking powder.
- Fold in flour in cream.
- Add lemon zest,juice and milk and mix well.
- Bake at 180C for approx 35 – 45 mins.(you can Bake in pressure cooker for 40 minutes or untill toothpic comes out clean.)
- your lemon cake is ready.
- I often drizzle with lemon icing –just icing sugar mixed with lemon juice.
