This cake is very very simple.original recipe was not asking for roasting the semolina but i did n it turned out so good ! You can make variation with making vanilla essence in spite of cardamoms.
2 Cardamoms (powdered)
1tsp Baking powder(i used double action)
- Soak dates in warm milk for 15minutes than grind it roughly.(u can chop it too)
- Roast the semolina on medium heat for 6-7 minutes till it turns golden colour.
- Mix all ingredients together.transfer batter in baking dish and top it with crushed cashews.
- Bake at 180'5 for around 25-30 minutes.(after 20 minutes,keep checking till cake passes knife test)
# This cake will not rise very much,but will turn out really soft.
