Hara Gosht


1/2kg Mutton
1 Onion
2tsp Ginger Garlic paste
1tsp Cumin seeds
1' Cinnamon stick
10 Black pepper
6-7 Clove
2 Black Cardamom
3 Green Cardamom
Pinch of Nutmeg
1/2tsp Red chili powder
1tsp Coriander powder
1/2cup Mint leaves
1cup Green coriander
5 Green Chilies
1tbsp Oil


  • Make fine paste of onion and whole spices with 1tbsp of water.
  • In heavy bottom pan heat oil.Add above paste and fry on lowest heat for 10-15 minutes.It will leave oil.
  • Add Mutton and fry on high heat for 7-8 minutes then add coriander powder,salt and 1cup of water.Cook till its tender.
  • Make paste of coriander leaves,mint leaves and green chilies.
  • Mix above paste in mutton and mix well.cook on lowest flame for 2-3 minutes and serve hot with Roti or Rice.
